Message I don't get what's so great about this? It is essentially making the car worse, going to a longer motor that will effect weight balance and has less torque and cc?

I'm from Australia (long time lurker, infrequent poster) and there are quite a few skylines getting around here. They're just seen as another car and a cop magnet. They are usually driven by 'ricers' who put tacky wheels on them and drive them hard until they die. And, compared to a 300, they aren't that great. To me this just seems like a downgrade, especially after mr nissan spent so much time getting the vg in there and working well.

I can appreciate how much time and effort has gone into this conversion though, doesn't look like a particularly easy job. I just wouldn't ever bastardize one of my zeds like that.
